from the fog capital of China
Chemistry enthusiast, debate captain, and community volunteer from Chongqing. Exploring the intersection of science, storytelling, and service.
I grew up in Chongqing — a city of thirty million people built on mountains, wrapped in fog, and fueled by the world's spiciest cuisine. I'm a senior at Chongqing Nankai Secondary School, where I serve as captain of the debate team and pursue my passion for chemistry and environmental science.
My interests span from laboratory research — I'm currently working on rechargeable lithium-fluorinated carbon batteries at Chongqing University through the Eagle Program — to community service, where I co-founded "渝你童行" (Yu Ni Tong Xing), a volunteer program supporting children with cancer at Qi'en Children's Center.
Whether I'm competing in chemistry olympiads, debating at the World Scholar's Cup, or designing science workshops for hospitalized children, I'm driven by the same question: how can we use knowledge to make a tangible difference?
探索
From battery chemistry in the university lab to the ecology of Jinyun Mountain, I follow curiosity wherever it leads — through experiments, competitions, and fieldwork.
传达
Science matters most when it reaches people. Through debate, science popularization competitions, and documentary filmmaking, I translate complex ideas into stories that resonate.
服务
Every other Saturday at Qi'en Children's Center, I'm reminded that knowledge is only valuable when it's shared. The children we work with deserve creativity, companionship, and care.

An intelligent gas sampling device that won the National Gold Award at the China International Innovation Competition (Sprout Track) and the Best Innovation Award at the Conrad Challenge China 2025–26. The project involved extensive lab work — designing prototypes, running experiments, and refining our approach through multiple competition rounds.

We design activities tailored to what the children can actually do — science experiments like flame demonstrations, creative workshops with dried flowers and silicone crafts, and festive celebrations like our Lantern Festival event.
